What Your Health Care Doesn't Cover For those on Medicare, the following services are generally not covered (with some exceptions):
Did you know that Medicare is an individual policy only? If you retire and go on Medicare, your spouse will not be part of your coverage. They will need to be age 65, and apply for themselves. If there is an age difference and one of you gives up your employer-sponsored insurance at retirement, you could face a gap in coverage for the younger spouse. Be sure and explore your options carefully before you decide to retire. |
